About Lexi

On May 10th 1995, the talented and ambitious Lexi Ulmer arrived into this world, ready to change the music scene. 17 years later she is still a passionate singer/songwriter specializing in contemporary and country style music.

At the young age of 14, Lexi carried the lead role in an independent film called Blake’s Ballad. This dramatic “short” gained rapid acknowledgement and was invited to participate in the prestigious Lake Arrowhead Film Festival. Despite the positive attention she received from her role in the movie, she continued to place her musical goals at the forefront of her mind by composing two original songs featured in the film.

Her musical hero is Taylor Swift; she is often identified with her for a similar autobiographical songwriting and performance style. The two grew up consistently daydreaming about their futures in the music industry and writing songs about personal events and experiences in their lives. Taylor’s ultimate success has provided enthusiasm and motivation in the pursuit of Lexi’s dreams.

Lexi grew up with a mom who is a social media marketer and as a result, knew what a powerful tool the internet could be. She began posting videos of herself singing original songs as well as cover music on various social media websites.

In August 2012, Kerry Kessel of KALM Talent Group stumbled upon the young artist while doing an online talent search. After various discussions between KALM and Lexi’s family, they began an exciting relationship and Lexi is ecstatic about her future with KALM and thankful to Kerry for the effort made on her behalf by the entire KALM family.

Lexi just recorded her first studio album, self-titled “Lexi Ulmer.” She worked with industry veterans such as Tim Pierce, Gregg Bissonette and Gabriel Moses as well as producer Frank Rosato. It was released on December 3, 2012 and Lexi and production/management are in the pre-planning stages of a music video for what will be her first released single.
